You can choose between either a 200rpm or 250rpm motor. Black or raw silver motor color available. The higher RPM works better for top speed or small wheels, and the lower RPM works better for higher load or larger wheels.
You'll be hard pressed to find a more well rounded Electric bike setup than this anywhere. The core of this ultralight setup is a 2.3kg motor that has a peak efficiency of 85%+.
The motor owes it's efficiency to a unique bearing reduction system that has less friction and makes less noise than traditional geared motors. At 50db's, this is also one the quietest motors available anywhere.
With nominal power of 250w, and a peak of 500w, this setup also has a very high power to weight ratio. It is so light, that most complete bikes builds will be less than 40lbs. An ultralight setup that comes in under 30lbs is also achievable with lightweight bike parts.
The battery is 36v and 10.2Ah's, and weighs a similarly nimble 5.2 pounds. Unlike most Electric bikes that feel like a brick when power is off, this kit allows pedaling with ease.
One of the best features of this kit is how simple and easy it is too install. There is only one harness, with a connection to the battery, to the screen, and to the motor.
The simplicity is owed to a motor that has a controller and speed sensor built into it. Not only is this configuration easier to repair, it also makes the bike appear much more sleek.
This is a pedal assist only kit, and so the mileage you get is much higher than a throttle system. You can choose the level of assist you would like the motor to give. I personally choose a low level of assist, and increase it for steeper hills and winds. This strategy allows me to get 50+ miles out of a single charge.
Two screens are available. The premium screen is an LCD flat screen that includes a USB charging port. The standard screen is very small and simple, but gives you all the necessary trip details.
The single motor comes without a wheel. It is a 32 spoke design, and any bike mechanic could install it within your existing wheel fairly easily. That it utilizing your existing 32 spoke wheel also makes it look cleaner than a kit with a pre installed wheel.
The warranty on all parts is 1 year. If at any point a manufacturing defect leads to failure, we will repair or replace the broken part.
Please also take time to learn about proper battery care. Charge your battery after every use, and try not to drain the battery completely. These are universal techniques for all lithium batteries.
One charge will allow for 20 - 60 miles of drive time, depending on how much you pedal, how fast you travel, and other factors.
